In this Jubilee Year of Pilgrims of Hope, we rejoice in the heart of our Christian faith—the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This joyful time calls us to reflect on God’s boundless love and the hope we receive through the Risen Christ. It is a season of blessing for all our families and friends who know the presence of Christ through our welcome and love for them.
Throughout this Jubilee Year, we are reminded that we are Pilgrims of Hope, journeying together with hearts open to God’s future of blessing. Nourished by the love of God, we are strengthened to face the challenges of life with trust and confidence. God gives us hope of forgiveness and life. In turn, we become givers of hope and life to others by encouraging words and deeds.
We celebrate this Easter with a renewed commitment to being Christ’s hands and feet in our community. Our parish schools, Good Samaritan, Fairy Meadow, and St. Brigid’s, Gwynneville, play an essential role in this mission. Our catechists for the State and Private schools and their students reveal the Light of Christ to our world. The dedication of our teachers and all our young people continues to inspire us all. Young people, you are dear to the Heart of Jesus. I encourage you to embrace the hope of Easter and to be witnesses of Christ’s love for your families, schools, and communities.
To all our parishioners and staff, thank you for your commitment to our parish and your service in the many ministries that enrich our community. Your dedication to the life of our Church is a sign of Christ’s presence among us. You are living signs of hope!
Let us walk together in God’s direction, as Pilgrims of Hope, embracing the gift of this Jubilee Year and proclaiming with joy:
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
